Job summary

The Brien Center for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Inc. is seeking a Client Services Representative to provide exceptional customer service and seamless access to Brien Center services.

Qualifications

• One year in a customer-service role; healthcare access/registration/scheduling preferred.
• Outstanding oral and written communication; professional service orientation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and multi-line telephony/IVR systems.
• Ability to operate in EHR/PM systems and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive and triage referrals; route to appropriate Brien programs or external providers.
• Schedule and manage intakes, evaluations, and follow-up appointments; collect and verify demographics and payer information.
• Verify insurance eligibility/authorizations and document outcomes per payer guidelines.
• Maintain waitlists, send reminders, and coordinate rescheduling to reduce no-shows.
