Job summary

The Brien Center is hiring a Client Services Representative (CSR) to deliver exceptional customer service by handling centralized scheduling, intake triage and routing, insurance eligibility/authorizations, and registration. The role also manages reminders, waitlists, and financial communications while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate documentation.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and at least one year in a customer-service role; healthcare access/registration experience

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one (1) year in a customer-service role; healthcare access/registration/scheduling preferred.
Familiarity with general office and clerical support procedures.

Responsibilities

Intake, triage, and referrals: receive and triage referrals; route to appropriate Brien programs or external providers; document findings and follow-up steps.
Scheduling, eligibility & authorizations: schedule outpatient intakes/evaluations; collect demographics; run eligibility; obtain prior authorizations.
Emergency/urgent workflows: complete rapid registrations; collaborate with clinical teams for full registration post-triage.
Client communication, reminders & waitlist: send reminders; manage waitlists; reschedule as needed.
Documentation, compliance & special populations: resolve missing data; work with Billing/RCM and Client Access teams; meet productivity and quality standards.
