Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in Oklahoma City seeks a Patient Access Representative to provide compassionate front-line service in a fast-paced MS Center of Excellence. You will be the first point of contact for patients, families, and providers, guiding them through schedules and processes with professionalism.

Responsibilities include greeting, scheduling, insurance verification, billing support, and maintaining accurate patient records and clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must demonstrate good written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• High attention to detail, dependability, and willingness to learn.
• The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, work independently, and demonstrate professionalism with diverse personalities and cultures are essential.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route all incoming calls and respond to inquiries and requests for information.
• Maintain clinic schedule including setting patient appointments, confirming appointments with reminder calls, and amending provider schedules according to availability.
• Greet patients and visitors; direct to clinic areas and prepare general correspondence.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; obtain required authorizations and explain bills to patients.
• Open/close the clinic; ensure waiting room is clean and organized; perform related duties.
