Qualifications

• High School or GED required; diploma submission for highest education obtained may be required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience; experience in healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines
• Follow processes for Insurance Verification and benefits management
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments
