Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Access Representative to collect patient data, verify insurance coverage, and maintain electronic health records. You will schedule appointments, handle inquiries, and ensure smooth patient flow within a clinic/department.

Strong customer service skills and familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare billing are highly valued, along with HIPAA compliance and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or at least six months of specialized training/experience.
• At least six months experience in a related field with Medicaid/Medicare and third-party billing/guidelines preferred.
• Knowledge of database software.
• Knowledge of Privacy Act and HIPAA regulations.
• No sanctions by OIG/GSA or LEIE; compliance with federal and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists all patients and visitors in person or by phone.
• Determine patient eligibility and assist with registration and CBID/tribal membership verification.
• Verify billing information and pre-registration by phone; enter data into electronic health records.
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments; maintain scheduling queues.
• Provide exemplary customer service and coordinate with Patient Benefits Advocates/Coordinators.
