Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service or healthcare preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Verify, re-verify and authorize patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Collect and post patient co-payments and balances; manage encounter forms.
• Handle telephone inquiries and provide information on procedures and policies.
• Prepare patient charts and ensure test results and forms are attached to appointments.
• Maintain recall lists and coordinate referrals and scheduling with providers.
