Job summary

Genesis PrimeCare is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to be the primary contact for patients needing provider access, appointment coordination, and timely communication. The PAS will manage provider schedules, coordinate visits, return calls, and collaborate with clinical and clerical staff to maintain an efficient, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 1 year receptionist/administrative experience in an office or clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with provider and nursing issues and act as a key contact for patient needs and access.
• Manage provider schedules and coordinate patient appointments.
• Return calls and ensure timely communication; collaborate with clinical and clerical staff to maintain an efficient environment.
