Job summary

Johnson Health Center is seeking a Patient Scheduling Specialist to join the Patient Care Team. You will provide courteous, professional contact with patients via phone, text, and live chat to ensure timely access to care.

You will manage appointment scheduling in the EHR, direct calls, and maintain accurate records to support seamless patient experiences. The role requires strong communication skills, comfort with multiple software programs, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and electronic medical records.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented setting and promote Johnson Health Center values.
• Some medical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional patient communication via phone and electronic channels.
• Direct calls and document telephone encounters for patients, providers, and pharmacies.
• Schedule appointments in the EHR and understand department scheduling components.
