• Obtains demographic data and visit reason; documents this information.
• Verifies insurance coverage and informs patients of expected payment.
• Completes data entry of pre-registration notes in the scheduling system.
• Uses resource guidelines and scheduling protocols to determine the need for financial counseling.
• Duties may be added or changed by management.
