Job summary

Ocean Beach Health is seeking a Healthcare Access Associate to greet and register patients, verify insurance, coordinate scheduling, and support across clinics, hospital departments, and rehabilitation services.

You will collaborate with therapists, nurses, and reception staff to ensure a welcoming patient experience, accurate data entry, HIPAA compliance, and smooth patient flow in a coastal Washington setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Public contact or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using a computer and data entry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-desk registration, scheduling, and patient admissions.
• Verify demographic and insurance information and update records.
• Answer multi-line phones and route inquiries promptly.
• Coordinate appointments and communicate scheduling updates.
• Assist in collecting copays and payments.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient rights.
