CentraState Healthcare System, headquartered in Freehold, New Jersey, is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator for its Physical Therapy department. You will register and schedule patients, determine financial responsibilities, secure consents and insurance information, and coordinate with Outcomes Managers to obtain pre-certifications as appropriate.

This role requires accurate documentation, adherence to state and federal regulations, and clear patient communication.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hospital experience in registration preferred.
• Hospital experience in billing preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Registers accounts following departmental procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Obtains and coordinates benefits, entering data into the scheduling system.
• Documents all communications with patients, families, and physicians; notes exceptions.
• Adheres to federal and state standards including MSP forms and DOBI consents.
• Utilizes Imaging system to scan paperwork during registration, scheduling and verification.
• Performs quality checks on registrations and acts to correct information.
• Manages department paperwork flow per policies and procedures.
• Contact patients scheduled by ancillary departments to collect accurate pre-registration information.
• Files charts and paperwork in appropriate areas; notes unregistered appointments for follow-up.
• Answers calls professionally to meet caller needs.
