Johnson Memorial Health in Franklin, IN seeks a Patient Service Access Representative in the Admissions Department to manage scheduling, prior authorizations, and insurance verification. You will handle patient check-ins, data entry, and coordination with providers to ensure efficient operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, with preferred experience in scheduling, medical billing, or medical offices. Monday–Friday hours and a focus on patient flow and confidentiality are emphasized.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with scheduling, coding or medical billing preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical office preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule testing and procedures visits for patients.
• Complete necessary data collection and prior authorizations.
• Assist with medication prior authorizations as needed.
• Scan verification sheets, PA referrals, prior authorizations and other referrals into the chart.
• Verify patient coverage using insurance verification websites by phone.
• Greet patients and complete check-in, including demographics and payment information.
• Maintain patient schedules, reports, and department files.
• Coordinate daily office operations and ensure timely patient flow.
• Initiate patient referrals to other providers.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and protect confidentiality.
