State of Franklin Healthcare Associates is seeking a Patient Service Representative in Johnson City, TN. The role focuses on patient intake, documentation, and front-desk coordination within a physician-led multi-specialty group.

The position requires a high school diploma, strong communication, and basic insurance/billing knowledge. Prior medical office or customer service experience is desirable, with opportunities for growth within a team-friendly environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a medical office or customer service is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of insurance and billing procedures (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Review demographics, insurance, and provider information and update records.
• Instruct new patients to complete paperwork and create new accounts in the system.
• Obtain insurance card and driver’s license.
• Update the EMR and take patients’ photos.
• Provide patient with SOFHA payment and privacy policy.
• Answer patient questions and concerns.
• Schedule/reschedule patient appointments.
• Collect payment and note on the encounter form.
• Route calls and deliver messages.
