• Perform pre-registration, verify demographics and insurance information.
• Verify benefits, insurance referrals and obtain IDs as needed.
• Explain policies, payment options and HIPAA requirements to patients.
• Support patient flow and coordinate with clinicians and staff.
• Provide financial counseling and establish payment plans when needed.
• Act as liaison between patients, physicians and staff to resolve issues.
• Notify relevant parties about appointments, referrals and approvals.
