Essentia Health's West Duluth Clinic seeks a friendly registration specialist to greet patients and guide them through the registration and checkout processes. You will collect demographic and financial information in person or virtually to ensure accurate registration and billing while supporting the care team.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in patient access or scheduling.
• No formal education is required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to collect demographic and financial information.
• Obtain insurance cards and update medical records as needed.
• Collect co-pays, reconcile cash drawer, and report deposits.
• Maintain work queues and provide high level of customer service.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, and route to clinical team as needed.
• Sanitize equipment and restock supplies.
• Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
