Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification required upon hire or within 90 days.
• Experience with patient registration/admission.
• Experience with insurance verification and authorization.
• Experience with electronic patient scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Obtain demographic and insurance information for pre-registration/intake.
• Register rehab series patients per admission standards.
• Determine eligibility and benefits for requested services.
• Verify insurance coverage promptly and communicate results to patient.
• Obtain insurance authorization in a timely fashion.
