Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: six months admitting, medical claims processing, professional office or customer service with financial interaction.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and schedule appointments, enter orders, and assist at multiple admitting sites.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorization within required timeframes.
• Identify and collect patient financial obligations (co-pays, deductibles, etc.).
• Explain and obtain signatures on forms; document information timely and accurately.
• Ensure compliant handling of patient data under HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.
