Job summary

Signature Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative to support registration, scheduling, and coordinating patient care in a healthcare environment. You will verify insurance, collect copays, and ensure accurate data in the EHR while delivering excellent patient experiences.

As a full-time role, you will work closely with the Patient Services team to maintain compliance with HIPAA and protect patient privacy, while using Epic and MS Office to manage daily tasks and communications.

Qualifications

• 1 year office, customer service, or related experience required.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid preferred.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information in the EHR.
• Schedule appointments and manage provider availability.
• Collect copayments and explain financial responsibility to patients.
• Verify and update patient insurance coverage in the EHR.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all interactions.
• Provide administrative support (scanning, faxing, mailing).
• Use Epic and other platforms to complete daily tasks.
