Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year office, customer service, or related experience required.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Experience in a primary care or behavioral health setting preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance, Medicare, Medicaid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and verify insurance in the EHR.
• Greet patients and families and assist with scheduling and check-in.
• Collect copayments and communicate financial responsibilities.
• Provide administrative support including scanning, faxing and mailing.
