Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Service Center Representative to serve as the essential link between patients and their care teams. You will handle patient calls, coordinate appointments, support care access, and ensure compassionate, professional interactions across every touchpoint.

The role focuses on patient registration verification, insurance checks, and MyChart portal support, with opportunities to assist referrals and authorizations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; coursework in insurance/billing is preferred.
• Experience in patient services, medical reception, or related customer service environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients by phone.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Answer questions, route calls appropriately, and relay messages to clinical staff.
• Verify patient registration and insurance information.
• Assist patients with MyChart and other patient portal support.
• Support referrals, authorizations, and patient outreach activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Partner with providers and office teams to create a seamless patient experience.
