Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan is seeking a Service Center Representative to act as the connection between patients and their care team. You will answer patient calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and support MyChart while upholding compassionate, professional service.

You will collaborate with clinical staff and office teams to ensure a seamless patient experience and accurate record-keeping in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Course work in insurance/billing, medical practice education or seminars are preferred.
• Previous experience in patient services, medical reception or call center is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients by phone.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Answer questions, route calls, and relay messages to clinical staff.
• Verify patient registration and insurance information.
• Assist patients with MyChart and other patient portal support.
• Support referrals, authorizations, and patient outreach activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Partner with providers and office teams to create a seamless patient experience.
