Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center is seeking a Manager for Patient Access at The James, leading and developing staff while ensuring accurate scheduling and high-quality service. The role focuses on coordinating QA data, reporting and process improvements within the department.

You will oversee budgeting, program implementation, and compliance with JCAHO standards, while collaborating with customers and other departments to optimize patient access and revenue cycle operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree may be desirable.
• 5 years of relevant experience required; 8–12 years preferred.
• Health care experience preferred; demonstrated leadership and management skills.
• Computer experience and proficiency with applications and systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage, guide, coach and evaluate Patient Access staff.
• Monitor scheduling accuracy and efficacy through reports.
• Develop QA data, reporting mechanisms and measure customer satisfaction.
• Assist with budgets, implement new programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
