Job summary

The Capacity Management Analyst at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center will partner with clinical and operational leaders to improve patient access and optimize ambulatory capacity. You will apply data analytics, forecasting, and process improvement to drive performance and efficiency across James Ambulatory Clinic Scheduling.

Qualifications

• Epic Certification preferred
• Experience in patient access or capacity management preferred
• Direct experience with customer relations and problem-solving
• Experience with data collection and analysis, and proficiency in tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clinical and operations leadership to influence, define, and execute initiatives that improve patient access and ambulatory capacity.
• Lead data-driven analyses, monitor KPIs, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Support Epic provider template governance and scheduling workflows within ambulatory operations.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and scorecards to drive sustainable performance improvements.
