Job summary

Jefferson County Health Center – JCHC Clinic is seeking a Clinic Registration Supervisor to lead registration and scheduling staff, ensuring a smooth patient experience and efficient access to care. This full-time days position covers clinic operations and collaborates with clinic leadership to optimize workflows.

You will oversee on-call schedules, PTO, CME planning, and provider templates in the EHR, while coaching staff, monitoring performance, and maintaining accurate patient data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of healthcare registration, scheduling, or patient access experience required.
• Leadership, lead-worker, trainer, or coordinator experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records and registration systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily registration activities to ensure efficient patient flow and service.
• Monitor registration processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist staff with complex registration, scheduling, insurance, and patient service issues.
• Maintain accurate patient demographics, insurance, and guarantor information.
• Support timely collection of co-pays, deductibles, and other payments.
• Coordinate staffing for registration and scheduling across all hours.
• Develop, maintain, and distribute provider on-call schedules.
• Coach and supervise staff when Clinic Registration Manager is unavailable.
• Collaborate with clinic leadership to optimize appointment availability.
