Job summary

Jefferson Health's Lansdale Campus is seeking a Lead Patient Access Representative (Full Time - Days). This role oversees both Outpatient Registration and ER Registration, coordinating front-desk operations to ensure efficient, patient-centered service.

You will coach staff, handle complex registrations, and ensure accurate demographic and insurance data entry, including authorizations and referrals. The position requires a High School diploma and at least 3 years of patient registration

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years of patient registration experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day support to Patient Access Representatives.
• Acts as a subject matter and technical expert.
• Ensures staff deliver a positive patient experience to patients and families.
• Demonstrates effective communication and customer service when interacting with staff, patients, families, and leadership.
• Trains staff to enter complete and accurate orders, demographic and insurance information including authorizations and referrals.
• Ensures staff compliance with departmental and institutional protocols including collecting out of pocket liability from patients.
