Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of medical office experience in a primary care setting.
• Certification as Medical Office Assistant or Medical Assistant preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data management.

Responsibilities

• Review upcoming patient schedule and verify insurance coverage.
• Verify active insurance and understand coverage benefits and limitations.
• Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and collect demographics.
• Schedule patient appointments and process insurance copays and payments.
• Complete pre-intake documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote patient-centered care.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in person and via call center.
