Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a part-time Patient Services Representative to provide front office support, improving patient access and scheduling efficiency. You will manage calls, registrations, and appointment workflows, ensuring a smooth clinic experience in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes patient communication, accuracy in records, and collaboration with providers and care teams. A high school diploma and healthcare experience are preferred.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year customer service experience required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records and multi-line phone systems preferred.
• Bilingual preferred depending on site needs.

Mansioni

• Serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and incoming calls.
• Greets and assists patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Schedules, reschedules, and confirms patient appointments in the scheduling system.
• Conducts appointment reminder calls and provides visit preparation instructions when needed.
• Verifies patient demographics, insurance information, and registration data.
• Prepares and verifies patient records prior to appointments.
• Tracks filled and cancelled appointments and updates scheduling systems accordingly.
