Job summary

Endeavor Health in Mount Prospect, IL is seeking a Patient Support Assistant to greet callers, schedule in Epic, and support physicians and staff. This full‑time role requires excellent communication and attention to detail, with hours Monday–Friday and rotating weekends.

You will handle patient inquiries, obtain authorizations, review templates, and provide clerical assistance to improve patient flow. Competitive hourly pay and benefits reflect experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPIC knowledge and experience preferred.
• 1–2 years in administrative/customer service.
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming telephone calls from patients, physicians, and other departments and handle each as appropriate in accordance with NorthShore telephone customer service standards and practice protocols, including documenting in Epic telephone encounters.
• Utilize Epic to schedule and register all new, established, and post‑procedure patients in accordance with patient and physician preferences, physician availability, and practice protocols.
• Obtain prior authorization for procedures.
• Review provider templates.
• Provide other administrative support under the direction of the Physicians and Practice Manager.
