Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Patient Support Assistant for Family Medicine in Niles, IL. The role supports front-desk and clinical operations, handling calls, scheduling, registrations, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient flow.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; medical assisting schooling preferred. 1–2 years in admin/customer service with EPIC knowledge is a plus; some travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming telephone calls from patients, physicians, and other departments and handle each as appropriate in accordance with standards and practice protocols.
• Utilize Epic to schedule and register all new, established, and post-procedure patients in accordance with patient and physician preferences, physician availability, and practice protocols.
• Obtain prior authorization for procedures.
• Review provider templates.
• Provide other administrative support under the direction of the Physicians and Practice Manager.
