Job summary

You will handle complex scheduling across multiple providers, coordinate referrals and records, enter data into Epic and Meditech, and support registration for new patients while liaising with patients, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Associates degree; 3 years of equivalent experience may substitute.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments, from single to multiple care providers.
• Front desk check-in/check-out duties.
• Collect demographics and insurance information.
• Coordinate referrals and medical records.
• Navigate patient flow and triage non-clinical questions.
• Communicate with patients, families, and providers.
• Enter data into patient care databases.
• Review and update patient alerts in Epic.
• Prepare provider schedules and handle changes.
• Refer patients to financial counselor as needed.
