Responsibilities

• Answer phones with proper salutation and take messages.
• Document messages in the EMR system.
• Greet patients warmly and verify demographics and insurance.
• Check in/out patients in the EMR and balance upfront collections.
• Schedule testing after precertification and process records requests.
• Process referrals and deposits according to protocol.
• Run end-of-day receipts and maintain patient charts.
