Lake Charles Memorial Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Representative to handle registration, scheduling, and administrative tasks in the EMR system. The role requires greeting patients, verifying demographics and insurance, and processing check-in/out procedures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and experience with medical terminology, keyboarding, and basic Microsoft Office skills. Previous scheduling experience is a plus, and strong customer service is essential.

• Broad range of administrative and clerical skills in healthcare environment.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Answers phone with correct salutation and takes messages.
• Greets patients and verifies information in EMR.
• Checks in/out patients in EMR and updates records.
• Collects co-pays and balances, posts to account.
• Completes referrals and medical records requests in EMR.
