Job summary

Avera Flandreau Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented registration and scheduling specialist to support patients, staff and providers. You will handle centralized scheduling for outreach clinics and procedures, input patient data, and assist with insurance functions on site in Flandreau, SD.

The role requires 1-3 years of related experience, strong secretarial skills, and the ability to work the specified day shift.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• 1-3 years business office experience.
• Must be able to work the hours specified and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs centralized scheduling of outreach clinics, services and procedures.
• Registers patients with demographic, insurance and physician information in the scheduling system.
• Ensures credentialing and licensure for providers, vendors, and carriers.
• Performs accounts payable duties including receipts, deposits and daily cash balances.
• Provides back-up support for billing/receipts and other clinic business office functions.
