Job summary

Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Scheduler I for the Morristown, NJ area. The role supports scheduling across multiple practices within the AMG Primary Care network, handling inbound and outbound inquiries, registrations, and insurance verifications.

The successful candidate will work Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm, in a busy call center environment, with emphasis on accuracy, patient portal usage, and timely appointment coordination.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of prior experience in a contact center or front-facing medical office setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and verify patient information in Epic and related systems.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls and SMS requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect accurate demographic data during registration.
• Promote patient portal usage and coordinate with registration resources as needed.
• Coordinate with physicians and practices to obtain missing information and status updates.
