UPMC Passavant Cranberry Hospital in Cranberry Township, PA, is seeking a full-time Supervisor to lead the Patient Access staff and assist at Passavant McCandless. Shifts include 9:00am–5:30pm, Monday–Friday, with coverage across daylight, evening, and overnight hours as needed.

The Supervisor will oversee staffing, training, quality improvement, and data integrity, ensuring extraordinary customer service and adherence to policies. Collaboration with clinical and non-clinical teams is essential.

Aufgaben

• Perform in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.
• Oversee the 24/7 operations of the on-site Arrival staff, including weekends and holidays.
• Complete department schedule, weekly time/attendance and monitor PTO requests to ensure staffing coverage.
• Manage overtime, keeping within budgetary requirements.
• Participate in new associate meet & greets and interviews, coordinating with Talent Acquisition to finalize hiring.
• Collaborate with the manager and resources regarding personnel issues and/or situations affecting department/institution.
• Develop and update work-specific procedural and policy documentation.
• Address customer complaints and ensure long-term resolution and corrective action.
• Foster an environment that encourages associate growth and development.
• Serve as a coach, mentor, team builder and facilitator.
• Provide on-call support to staff for staffing concerns.
• Act as a liaison for technical/operational questions with other departments to ensure data integrity.
• Participate in committees and special projects as directed by department management.
• Represent the department in the absence of the manager and make decisions within delegated authority.
• Train new associates and provide ongoing education and communication to staff.
• Review for 100% compliance with uLearn requirements.
• Evaluate staff to ensure compliance with competencies and target additional training as needed.
• Support and contribute to UPMC core values and guiding principles.
