Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Supervisor Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to support the House Advanced Practice Providers department at UPMC Passavant in Pittsburgh. The role oversees a team of APPs, delivers clinical care for non-Hospitalist inpatients, and responds to Rapid Response activations including stroke codes.

This leadership position reports to the Director of Advanced Practice Affairs and collaborates with VPMA to drive growth and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed PA or CRNP in Pennsylvania.
• Current CPR; ACLS or BLS as applicable.
• Act 34 Clearance.
• Experience supervising APPs.
• Minimum five years APP leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of six APPs and oversee clinical care.
• Respond to Rapid Response activations including stroke codes.
• Ensure quality improvement and staff education.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership.
• Align service growth with organizational goals.
