Job summary

UPMC is seeking a full-time Supervisor to lead the Patient Access staff at UPMC Passavant Cranberry Hospital and assist with support at Passavant McCandless. The role requires working all shifts as needed, with a baseline schedule from 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

The Supervisor will guide staff, manage scheduling and attendance, ensure quality service, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition and other departments to maintain high performance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Leadership of patient access staff and supervision of associates.
• Ability to develop and implement policy documentation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Patient Access staff at UPMC Passavant Cranberry Hospital and support Passavant McCandless.
• Manage 24/7 operations including weekends and holidays, with shifts 9:00am–5:30pm Mon-Fri as a baseline.
• Oversee scheduling, time/attendance, PTO requests, and staffing coverage.
• Ensure compliance with policies, quality and customer service standards, and staff development.
• Provide on-call support and act as liaison with clinical and non-clinical departments.
