Job summary

The Longstreet Clinic, incorporated is seeking a Revenue Cycle Representative in Gainesville, GA. You will ensure exceptional customer service while scheduling, verifying patient demographics, benefits, and pre-certifications, and guiding patients through financial counseling when appropriate.

Responsibilities include data entry across scheduling systems, insurance verification, ABN handling, and collaboration with physicians and staff to minimize delays and improve patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years hospital registration or business office experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work independently under stress and manage changing priorities.
• Working knowledge of Protected Health Information and insurance verification processes.

Responsibilities

• Data entry into scheduling systems for multiple areas with patient, physician and staff information.
• Identify available times for procedures and ensure efficient insurance verification and pre-certification.
• Perform medical necessity checks and ABN notifications when needed.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information and benefits.
• Explain financial responsibilities to patients and collect pre-service payments when applicable.
• Coordinate with physician offices and ancillary departments to support patient satisfaction.
