Logan Health in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, register information, verify insurance, and assist with payments to ensure a smooth visit.

You will support the clinic team, help patients navigate financial options, and maintain accurate records while upholding confidentiality and quality service.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience preferred
• Healthcare registration, scheduling, insurance verification or billing experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding preferred
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills
• Healthcare experience is helpful, but strong customer service skills can be valuable

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and families with kindness, professionalism, and excellent customer service
• Register patients and accurately update demographic and insurance information
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, referrals, and authorizations as applicable
• Help patients understand estimated out-of-pocket expenses
• Collect and process patient payments

• Provide administrative support to help keep clinic operations running smoothly
• Work closely with clinical and administrative team members to provide an efficient, positive patient experience
