Baptist Health is hiring a Patient Access Representative II to join our Patient Access team at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a part-time opportunity. Shift details: Saturday/Sunday 6:45AM-7:15PM

This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with healthcare and insurance experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and supporting patients throughout the registration and access process.

This role serves as the entry point into the Patient Access career path for candidates who bring relevant experience in customer service, healthcare, insurance, scheduling, registration, call center or administrative support. This role supports timely and accurate patient registration, scheduling, pre-registration, insurance verification, financial clearance, and point-of-service collection activities in a fast-paced hospital environment. This includes both straightforward and complex scenarios. The Representative II is expected to quickly develop proficiency in front-end revenue cycle workflows while delivering a professional, compassionate, and service-oriented first impression for patients and families.
