Job summary

Englewood Health, a leading healthcare system in northern New Jersey, seeks a Patient Access Clerk to support registration processes in Englewood, NJ. You will interview patients or representatives, collect required information, and perform data entry with accuracy and courtesy.

Under supervision, you will ensure service excellence in every interaction and coordinate with the Patient Access Services team to maintain efficient workflows in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred. In absence of such, a minimum of 5 years related experience required

Job Summary:

Job Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with professional appearance
• Ability to function independently
• Clerical, data entry and typing skills including filing and record keeping
• One or more years of registration or related clerical/health care experience is preferred when accompanied with HS Diploma or equivalent
• Some knowledge of computer systems
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment that has frequent changes in priorities
• Flexibility and ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
• Ability to complete needed tasks with speed and accuracy

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
