Job summary

Ascension Via Christi St. Joseph in Wichita, KS seeks an LPN to provide bedside care on the Med Surg unit. The role requires administering medications, assessing patient status, and coordinating discharge plans under RN/Physician supervision.

A valid KS LPN license and BLS are required, with a high school diploma or equivalent and potential for tuition support. This full-time day-shift position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
