Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is hiring a full-time Patient Access Representative for the Kennett Square, PA office, with travel to Downingtown, West Chester and West Grove offices as needed. Responsibilities include greeting patients, verifying demographics and insurance, collecting co-pays, scheduling tests, and directing patients through check-in.

Requirements include experience in a medical office, knowledge of insurance plans, multitasking ability, computer proficiency, and EMR

Responsibilities

• Schedule tests and follow-up appointments as patients leave the office.

• Call patients to confirm appointments.
• Receive, greet, and direct patients at check-in.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and PCP information at time of check-in.
• Collect co-pays and payments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for full-time Patient Access Representative to work at Kennett Square, PA office. This position requires traveling to our Downingtown, West Chester and West Grove, PA offices.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.*

Responsibilities:

• Schedule tests and follow-up appointments as patients leave the office
• Review instructions for studies scheduled with patients
• Enter charges as the patient is leaving, as well as during downtime
• Call patients to confirm appointments
• Receive, greet, and direct patients
• Verify demographics, insurance, and PCP information at time of check-in
• Collect co-pays
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have experience in a medical office setting
• Must have knowledge of different insurance plans
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia provides medical, vision, dental, 401k, profit sharing, LTD, generous PTO, and paid holiday time.

If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
