Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) is hiring a full-time Patient Care Representative for the Paoli, PA location. The role includes greeting patients, scheduling tests, verifying information and insurance, and collecting co-pays.

CCP offers a comprehensive benefits package and a $500 sign-on bonus. Ideal candidates have prior medical office experience, knowledge of insurance, strong communication skills, and proficiency with computers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting is required.
• Knowledge of different insurance plans and eligibility is preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy and data entry accuracy.
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus.
• Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tests and follow-up appointments for patients.
• Review instructions for scheduled studies.
• Enter charges as patients leave or during downtime.
• Call patients to confirm appointments.
• Receive, greet, and direct patients at check-in.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and PCP information.
• Collect co-pays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
