Job Summary:

Responsible for communicating with patients, participants, and staff to accurately schedule patients for procedures and gather demographic, insurance, and clinical information.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather information from patients and enter into the appropriate database. Seek resources to resolve scheduling issues.
• Schedule patient procedures efficiently, coordinating and communicating schedules.
• Assist with insurance pre-certification/authorization activities.
• Counsel patients or their representatives on pre-service requirements and instructions.
• Handle clerical and reception duties related to patient registration.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience

• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive movements.

• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping.
