Nemours is seeking a Patient Access Service Specialist II (PASS) to join our Delaware team. You will perform patient admitting and registration, verify insurance, collect copays, and coordinate transfers with nursing and transport staff.

This full-time, 36-hour weekly role requires strong customer service, computer, and communication skills. The position supports after-hours coverage including 3:00 PM–3:00 AM shifts, weekends and holidays, delivering compassionate care and accurate data entry.

Competenze

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of patient or customer service experience required.
• Three years of experience preferred.
• Must have computer, customer service and written and oral communication skills.

Mansioni

• Registers patients and collects demographic, geographic, and financial/insurance information.
• Verifies insurance benefits and collects copays.
• Schedules follow-up appointments at discharge.
• Assists with transfers, admissions, and after-hours services.
• Maintains patient identification, safety procedures, and accurate data entry.
