Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 6 months experience in a medical office environment performing general clerical duties.
• Knowledge of CPT procedure codes and ICD diagnosis coding.
• Insurance verification experience and knowledge of obtaining insurance authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect required demographic, insurance and clinical data.
• Book appointments and facilitate expeditious reimbursement and patient satisfaction.
• Support referrals and/or authorizations as needed.
• Follow regulatory compliance and Code of Conduct requirements.
