Enloe Health is seeking a Clinic Registration Rep III to be a point of contact for patients inside and outside the clinic, accurately collecting and analyzing demographic, insurance, and clinical data to register and book appointments under supervision.

The role emphasizes timely patient access, expeditious reimbursement, and strong teamwork, with work supporting referrals and authorizations and adherence to regulatory requirements and Enloe Health codes of conduct.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as an Enloe Clinic Registration Rep II in the department you are applying OR three years' experience in a medical office environment with referrals and authorizations.
• Knowledge of current CPT procedure codes and ICD diagnosis coding is desirable.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinic Registration Rep III position is designed to be a point of contact for patients both inside and outside the clinic setting. The Clinic Registration Rep III will accurately collect and analyze all required demographic, insurance, financial and clinical data elements necessary to register and book patient appointments under close supervision. The Incumbent is responsible for the provision of routine patient access activity to facilitate efficient operations, expeditious reimbursement and optimal consumer satisfaction and to promote teamwork. Position requires work supporting referrals and/or authorizations. The incumbent is responsible to further the mission of Enloe Health. The Incumbent is responsible to consistently demonstrate the core values of Enloe Health. The incumbent is responsible to perform their duties in accordance with regulatory compliance requirements and the Medical Center's Code of Conduct.

Education / Training / Experience

Minimum:

• Two years' experience as an Enloe Clinic Registration Rep II in the department in which you are applying OR three years' experience in a medical office environment which includes referrals and authorizations.

Desired:

• Surgical office experience
• Insurance verification experience
• Knowledge of obtaining insurance authorizations.
• Knowledge of current CPT procedure codes and ICD diagnosis coding

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES

Must be able to follow instructions, learn the work routines associated with patient access work flow; work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment; must have good customer service and time management skills. Capable of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (Microsoft Office Suite) computer skills and general office equipment. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
