Job summary

R1 RCM Inc is hiring a Part-time, PRN Patient Registration Representative to support the patient intake process in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You’ll register patients, gather information, and provide compassionate assistance while coordinating with nurses and front-desk staff.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems. Training is provided, and the role offers on-call hours and growth opportunities within R1 RCM Inc.

Qualifications

Experience with patient access, registration, or insurance processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for patients via phone and in person.
Manage check-in and registration across multiple systems with accuracy and speed.
Gather and verify patient information; explain costs and collect co-pays when applicable.
Support doctors and nurses by coordinating patient flow and appointments.
Collaborate with care teams to ensure smooth patient experience and timely access to care.
Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining high-quality service.
