Job summary

Enloe Health is seeking a Clinic Registration Rep II in Chico to serve as a primary contact for patients, accurately collecting demographic, insurance, and clinical data to register and book appointments. The role emphasizes data integrity, efficient access, and teamwork in a patient-centered environment.

The position requires the ability to support referrals and authorizations, with a preference for candidates with medical office experience and knowledge of CPT/ICD coding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR 6 months experience in a medical office environment performing general clerical duties to include data collection, data entry, typing, customer relations and filing.
• Desired: Surgical office experience
• Knowledge of insurance verifications and authorizations
• Knowledge of CPT procedure codes and ICD diagnosis coding

Responsibilities

• Register and book patient appointments by collecting and analyzing demographic, insurance, financial and clinical data.
• Provide routine patient access support to facilitate efficient operations and expeditious reimbursement.
• Assist with referrals and/or authorizations as required.
